Fun with Robots is a Student College course taught at Carnegie Mellon University , intended to introduce robotics to those with minimal or no previous knowledge about the subject. To do well in Fun with Robots, you should have:
- motivation to learn how to make robots do interesting things.
- some programming experience, especially in C, though students have done well without this in the past (don't let it scare you off).
That's it! Sound interesting? For more details, check out the syllabus , and for even more, the paper that was published about the course in the 2006 International Conference on Robotics and Automation . You might also take a peek at the media section of the website, where we keep videos and pictures of previous students' robots.
