Planned modifications¶

Replace high complexity switching power power supply with a simpler one.
use a linear regulator for 3.3V power
remove charging circuit
remove push button control
add switch allow for battery shutoff
possibly replace push button ic with some type of RS-Latch / 555 timer finite state machine?
include charge contacts to provide power when docked. Integrate functionality into battery shutoff switch. *
